DuPont has for the fifth consecutive year been recognized by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) as one of America’s top corporations for women’s business enterprises in 2018. The honor recognizes world-class supplier diversity programs that reduce barriers and drive growth for women-owned businesses.

WBENC is the nation's leading advocate of women-owned businesses and entrepreneurs. Its national awards program is the only one that honors corporations for world-class supplier diversity programs that reduce barriers and drive growth for women-owned businesses (WBEs). According to the WBENC, top corporations spent $39.5 billion with WBE suppliers in 2017, an increase of $200 million from 2016.

DuPont was one of just 60 U.S. corporations to meet the award’s rigorous standards. “America’s Top Corporations know that stronger WBEs will drive new sources of revenue, deepen customer satisfaction and generate a stronger economy," said President and CEO of WBENC Pamela Prince-Eason.

“Receiving this recognition is extremely gratifying, and it’s a clear outgrowth of our ‘Respect for People’ core value,” said DuPont CHRO, Darrell Ford. DuPont will be honored before an audience of more than 1,800 business leaders at the WBENC Summit & Salute to Women's Business Enterprises, March 11-13, 2019 in Houston.
