The DuPont™ Tyvek® Medical Packaging Transition Project (MPTP) is a plan to transition Tyvek® 1073B and Tyvek® 1059B to the latest flash-spinning technology and equipment to ensure the continuity and flexibility of future supply. It includes three study components: U.S. FDA Transition Protocol, Phantom Protocol and Product Stewardship.
DuPont is making a multi-year investment of more than $30 million and has a global, cross-functional team working on the Medical Packaging Transition Project to help ensure its success. However, the Medical Packaging Transition Project would not be possible without industry collaboration from test houses, sterile packaging manufacturers (SPMs) and medical device manufacturers (MDMs) from around the world.
Tremendous progress continues to be made thanks to the efforts of our many global collaborators, including those listed here.
