This Two-day Workshop - will provide you an overview of the key concepts of the DuPont™ STOP® program, and help you understand why it has been so successful at helping reduce workplace injuries for more than 30 years. You will discover how STOP® helps build safety observation and communication skills, and empowers employees at all levels to talk to one another about safety. STOP® is based on tested principles proven to help reduce incidents and injuries, including:


  • All injuries can be prevented.
  • Employee involvement is essential.
  • Management is responsible for preventing injuries.
  • All deficiencies must be corrected promptly.


This workshop introduces the DuPont process for investigating incidents and focuses on developing skills that are needed to investigate incidents effectively and recommend preventive actions. These skills include the ability to:


  • Interview employees involved in incidents to enlist their cooperation and so gain complete and accurate information. 
  • Think systematically through key aspects of any incident to determine all the factors that could contribute to the incident.
